The final classic of the season in the UK was postponed for a day in respect for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for one day. The Race was held at Doncaster over the usual distance of 1 mile 6 ½ furlongs. (3300 meters). There were nine runners taking the challenge on good to soft ground.
